The children at Hamp Community Junior School took part in The Regional Festival Series organised by Music for Youth on Saturday 15th March at Castle School in Taunton.

The Adjudicator quoted 'Wonderful costumes brought this bright, colourful composition to life. The question and answer rythmic patterns were well conceived and disciplined. The dances displayed so much energy and vitality - well rehearsed routine.

The direction - all carried our by use of a whistle was most effective. Good rhythmic drive and momentum were displayed in this exciting performance from this young group. Congratulations. ' If the children get through they will be invited to Birmingham for the final.
